Page 22 Rough Draft
Todays update is a bit late (a day late), but for a good reason, I was finishing up a page for a top secret comic project, which I’ll let you guys in on once I’m able to chat about it.
I wanted to make this scene where Andrew is coming in and crashing the Mountain Factory business, to seem like a corny manga face off page, with action lines, and closeups, to really try to show just how excited I was at the prospect of this thing we created becoming an expanded business!
Hope you guys are enjoying the comic so far, and my apologies for being a day late on this, although, as you’ll see in a bit, it was for a super-duper good reason!
Good morning, I’m updating this a few hours later than usual. Now we’re getting into Snowy Mountain Factory. I love how there was a process and rules to playground games, almost like we were learning to build limitations to enable the freedom to create, much like we do with design and illustration now.
I received a zine in the mail from a friend, and was going to post about it, but am currently overloaded with illustration work, as well as job hunting, and my wife and I have a kid on the way, so time is a bit hectic this week. I’ll try to post a review of it later in the week.
What sort of creative games did you play as a kid on the playground?
